Lucía Gómez


Born in San Sebastián, she started her music education at the age of 3 studying violin and vocal training simultaneously. In 2014 she completed her studies with the mezzo-soprano Maite Arrabarrena in Musikene (Higher School of Music of the Basque Country). She furthered her training with master classes of Maciej Pikulsky, Carlos Chausson, Malkom Walker, Tony Madigan, Ulrich Eisenlohr and Ana Luisa Chova.

Lucía is a member of Ciklus Ensemble. She collaborates with numerous choirs, such as Orfeón Donostiarra, Coral Andra Mari, Capilla Peñaflorida, Intermezzo choir, Capella Carolina from Heidelberg. Thus, she has had the chance to perform under the leadership of great conductors as Claudio Abbado, Tugan Shokiev and Daniel Barenboim, among others.

She has performed as a soloist in music festivals such as Musikaste, the Ciclo de Música de Cámara de Kutxa, Música-Musika, the 73th Quincena Musical of San Sebastián or the 16th Semana Musical Aita Donostia. She has recently performed as alto in Beethoven’s 9th Simphony with Orfeón Donostiarra.
